Dodgers sign Cuban outfielder Yasiel Puig

The Dodgers have reached an agreement on Cuban outfielder Yasiel Puig. The deal is for seven years and $42 Million, it is pending a physical. Puig is 21 years old, he hit .330 with 17 home runs, 47 RBIs and 78 runs scored in 327 at-bats with the Cienfuegos Elefantes in the 2010-11 Cuban National Series. Puig is considered to be a 5-tool player. He does have a clause in contract and can become a free agent after four years. If all goes well we can see him in the majors by the end of the year in time to help for playoff push.
