Dodgers Looking At Kevin Youkilis
The Boston Red Sox are telling teams that they definitely intend to trade Kevin Youkilis. With new ownership in place the Dodgers will now be a team considered when players become available, but Youkilis does likely make sense. The Dodgers need a bat to replace Matt Kemp who is on the disabled list and it’s obvious that Don Mattingly’s patience has worn thin with James Loney. He recently pinch hit for him with the bases loaded and the other night against the Brewers Loney was hesitant to go up with Matt Kemp on third and two outs. Jon Heyman of CBS Sports is reporting that the Dodgers are stepping up their scouting on Youkilis and will do what it takes to win.
